Leigh's formative years were spent atop a mountain in Chamonix, France, where snowy peaks dominated his surroundings. Imagine his disappointment when his family relocated to the remarkably flat landscapes of the UK, revealing a world devoid of the majestic mountains he'd grown accustomed to.
Upon reaching adulthood and gaining autonomy, Leigh sought solace in Vancouver, drawn by the rugged mountains of British Columbia. It was here that his passion for skiing blossomed into a promising career, until a series of unfortunate accidents left him with striking scars and a new direction in life. Encouraged by fate, Leigh transitioned from the slopes to the director's chair, embarking on a journey into the world of filmmaking.
The mountains, with their inherent sense of action and adventure, provided the ideal canvas for Leigh's artistic vision. His early successes in crafting award-winning sports films paved the way for collaborations with esteemed brands such as CNP, E.On, Oakley, The North Face, Loto, and Reebok, all eager to harness his unique perspective and creative prowess.
In addition to his directorial talents, Leigh boasts a strong background in post-production, lending his expertise to VFX-driven projects in the commercial realm. And just as his skiing style was unmatched, so too is his approach to filmmaking.
